Over the almost 50 years I have been involved with music and the music industry I have seen
multiple disruptive events of many types. In every single case the human spirit has picked up and
moved forward. It will again this time.In the midst of most of these events the music industryalways
had amazing resilience and many bright spots. This time it will be no different.
In difficult times people still seek out music and entertainment to offer a break or a distraction
from the challenges that are in front of them.
Currently people are at home. They are playing their instruments, writing and recording,
collaborating on line with other musicians and producing Live Stream and YouTube videos
to share with, educate and entertain others.
Currently our guitar and instrument sales are just fine for the above reasons so this promotion
will focus on accessory items. My wife owns and operates a retail music shop and on-line
operation separate from MDRG and sales of guitars, ukes, banjos as well as accessory items
has frankly been surprisingly brisk. We attribute this to "cabin fever".I have seen this many
times over the years.
These featured items are looking out to the near future when our stores will be open for
regular business,students are back to their normal lesson programs and the spring and
summer festival season will be underway. So like you, we need to keep the bills paid and
product moving. To do that we will offer some limited specials that in a few weeks we
know you will be needing.
